Two drug peddlers arrested with 3.3 kg marijuana in Hyderabad

Two alleged interstate drug peddlers from Jharkhand were apprehended with 3.3 kg of marijuana near Aramghar crossroad in Hyderabad.
The accused, Injamamul Haque alias Faizal Khan, 25, and Anish Kumar Saw, 25, both from Bokaro in Jharkhand, were apprehended on Thursday (October 1) in a joint operation by the Commissioner’s Task Force, Charminar Zone, and Mailardevpally police. Police seized 3.3 kg of marijuana, valued at about ₹1.80 lakh, and two mobile phones from them.
According to the police, the two childhood friends came to Hyderabad in 2024 in search of work and were employed in catering while staying in Kompally. They allegedly later began procuring marijuana from Jharkhand and transporting it to Hyderabad for sale.
