Two dead in Buller region, police launch homicide investigation
Police have launched a homicide investigation after two people were found dead at separate properties in the Buller region of New Zealand. Authorities have stated there is no ongoing risk to the public.

A homicide investigation is underway after two people were found dead in Buller.
In a statement to RNZ, Detective Inspector Geoff Baber said emergency services were called to a property on State Highway 7, Rahu Saddle about 7.50am on Tuesday following concerns for a person.
"Upon arrival, a person was located deceased at the property.
"Further enquiries were carried out and when visiting another address on Maimai Road, another person was located also deceased."
