Two-day industry-academia conclave at IIT Palakkad

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad will host the eighth edition of its industry-academia conclave (IAC 8.0) on September 25 and 26 on its campus.

Nagahanumaiah, director of Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI), Bengaluru, will be the chief guest.

The event will feature speakers including Kanakasabapathi Subramanian, senior vice-president of Ashok Leyland; B.P. Gautham, chief scientist at TCS Research; Krishna Venkatesh, global head of Integrated Product Development Organisation, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories; and Yogesh S. Chauhan, Chair Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Senior executives and technologists from companies such as Syngene International, Aurea Biolabs, HSBC, Fujitsu, Tata Semiconductors, L&T Construction, Hero MotoCorp, Mastercard and Bristol Myers Squibb are expected to participate. Faculty members from academic and research institutions will also attend.
