Two ATM kiosks burgled near Karimnagar in pre-dawn heists
Two ATM kiosks near Karimnagar, India, were burgled in the early hours of Sunday by masked robbers using gas cutters. Police suspect a gang from Maharashtra may be responsible and are currently reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspects.

Robbers struck two ATM kiosks of a nationalised bank along Rajiv Rahadari (State Highway 1) near Karimnagar in the early hours of Sunday (September 20, 2026), escaping with cash after disabling CCTV cameras and cutting open an ATM chest with a gas cutter.
It was not immediately known whether the same gang was behind the two other robberies at Durshed and Thimmapur, both under the Karimnagar Police Commissionerate.
At Durshed, three masked robbers allegedly barged into an ATM around 3.30 a.m., damaged the CCTV cameras and cut open the cash chest reportedly with a gas cutter. They fled in a four-wheeler with around ₹8 lakh in cash.
The burglar alaram at the bank’s central control room was triggered, following which officials alerted the local bank staff, according to sources.
