Two arrested over alleged attempt to grab ₹1-crore property using forged documents in Guduvanchery

Two men have been arrested in Guduvanchery for attempting to fraudulently seize a property worth ₹1 crore using forged documents. The Tambaram Central Crime Branch is continuing the investigation and expects further arrests related to the forgery scheme.

The Tambaram Central Crime Branch arrested two men in connection with an attempt to fraudulently take over a 2,400-sq.ft property in Arul Nagar, Guduvanchery, valued around ₹1 crore.
The police said that a case was registered on May 2 following a complaint by Ganesan, 82. The police said that G. Munusamy impersonated the complainant, while L. Sathyakumar helped register forged documents to facilitate the sale of the property.
Munusamy and Sathyakumar were arrested, produced before Judicial Magistrate-II Court in Chengalpattu, and remanded in judicial custody.
