Nikita Bier, the product head at X (formerly known as Twitter) has stepped down from his position after serving in the role for just over a year. Bier announced his decision in a post shared on X, saying it was ‘time to pass the torch and demote myself to my natural state: a poster.’ He added that he will continue to advise the company. Bier, a serial entrepreneur and Lightspeed venture partner, took over the product lead role in July 2025. In his farewell note, he highlighted overseeing the launch of nearly 30 new products and rebuilding core aspects of X, including the timeline, Android app, onboarding, notifications, and chat.
