Twenty-four schools under Ernakulam district panchayat to go smart
Twenty-four high schools in the Ernakulam district are set to be upgraded with smart classrooms and digital infrastructure. The project is funded by a corporate social responsibility grant from Cochin Shipyard Limited.

As many as 24 high schools under the Ernakulam district panchayat will become ‘smart’ and be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The district panchayat inked an agreement with Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) and received a sum of ₹1.24 crore as corporate social responsibility (CSR) funding to implement the project.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was exchanged on Tuesday. District panchayat president K.G. Radhakrishnan signed the MoU for the project with P.N. Sampath Kumar, head of the CSR division at CSL, and district panchayat secretary Timple Magi.
