At the second meeting of the post-poll allies of the ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), scheduled to be held at the party headquarters in Panaiyur on the outskirts of Chennai on September 9, 2026 , the TVK is expected to formalise the alliance headed by it in the State.
TVK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay will hold discussions with leaders of the Congress, IUML, VCK, and MDMK on formalising the existing alliance in the State. The TVK has already reached out to the Left parties and MDMK general secretary Vaiko, extending formal invitations to participate in the meeting.
