TVK MLA booked in trespass, assault case in Puducherry

A case has been registered against legislator belonging to the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, A. K. Sai J. Saravanan Kumar, and his associates, in connection with alleged trespass and assault of security staff of a multinational company in Puducherry.
According to the police, the legislator and his supporters barged into the premises of Whirlpool company and manhandled the security staff. The TVK MLA has been accused of threatening the company staff, the police said.
