The Sholinghur police have registered a case against TVK MLA Kapil following allegations that he assaulted a journalist, snatched his mobile phone, deleted video recordings, and issued death threats during an altercation at the Vanniyar Community Hall in Sholinghur in Ranipet district recently. The case was registered based on the statement of T. Aranganathan, 50, a journalist from Sholinghur, who had been undergoing treatment after the alleged attack.
