The ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), which made a slew of promises ahead of the Assembly elections, is in no mood to fulfil them, which has triggered agitations across the State, Member of Parliament Kanimozhi has said.
She told presspersons on Tuesday with the reporters at Keezha Eral on Thoothukudi–Madurai Highway after reviewing the work on the construction of the flyover at this village on the four-lane national highway that those who protest against the State government to should remind themselves of the ruling party’s poll promises. Farmers, nurses, and other sections of the society, who agitate demanding the execution of the poll promises, were being arrested and cases filed against them, she said.
