TVK functionary arrested in Nagapattinam for drug trafficking, expelled NAGAPATTINAM The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) arrested Boobalan, 42, an advocate and member of the ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam district executive committee in Nagapattinam, in connection with a drug trafficking case. A team of five DRI officials searched Boobalan’s residence at Chinthamani in Keezhapidagai village from 7 a.m. on Friday and enquired him in connection with the trafficking of methamphetamine.
