TVK cadre protest against Udhayanidhi over alleged derogatory remarks
Members of the Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) party held protests across several districts in Tamil Nadu to condemn alleged derogatory remarks made by opposition leader Udhayanidhi against Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay. The protesters are demanding official action against the leader.

Condemning Opposition Leader Udhayanidhi for allegedly making defamatory remarks against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam members staged demonstrations in three places, including Ramanathapuram, in the Ramanathapuram district.
In front of the Ramanathapuram Palace, a demonstration was held by the TVK Women’s Wing. The protest was led by East District Secretary Malarvizhi. Over 250 party members, including 200 women, participated, raising slogans condemning Udhayanidhi.
In front of the Kamuthi bus stand, a demonstration took place under the leadership of West District Secretary Manmathan. Over 200 TVK members, including 20 women, participated. In Thiruvadanai, a demonstration was held near the Oriyur junction.
Similarly, in Sivaganga district, condemning Mr. Udhayanidhi, a demonstration was held by TVK in front of the Sivaganga Palace entrance.
