Inaugurating the Thrissur Municipal Corporation’s Vidyashree-2026 educational awards at the K. Karunakaran Memorial Town Hall on Friday (July 17, 2026), Mr. Chennithala urged students not to lose heart in the face of setbacks.
“Those who turn challenges into opportunities find success in life,” he said, adding that society should pay greater attention to students who struggle in the race for academic success rather than only celebrating high achievers.
The Minister said taking one’s own life over poor examination marks was never a solution. “When setbacks occur, students should strive harder and work with greater determination to achieve success,” he said.
