TUDA accelerating development to meet future needs, says Chairman

The Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) is expanding its infrastructure projects across several constituencies to improve urban connectivity and pilgrim facilities. Key initiatives include new master plan roads, improved drainage, and dedicated parking corridors to manage high visitor traffic.
Why it matters
Infrastructure development in major pilgrimage hubs is critical for managing large-scale tourism and supporting regional economic growth in Andhra Pradesh.
The Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) has been expanding its operations beyond a single area to cover Chandragiri, Tirupati, Srikalahasti, and Nagari constituencies, thereby accelerating development to meet future needs, said its Chairman and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) ex-officio member C. Divakar Reddy.
Mr. Divakar Reddy, along with Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthi Nani announced that comprehensive plans were being implemented to position Tirupati as top district in the State under the guidance of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Minister Nara Lokesh, at a press conference in the Tirupati Press Club on Saturday.
