TTD’s Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary has donated five indigenous cows to the Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshanasala, the TTD-run dairy farm in Tirupati.
While formally handing over the cattle to the dairy farm’s director Siva Kumar, he recalled the special place accorded to cows in Sanatana Dharma and appealed to the public to support the TTD’s cow protection initiatives.
The TTD’s priests performed special ‘Go Daana Puja’ to the cattle and also to the deity of Sri Venugopala Swamy at the S.V. Gosamrakshanasala.
