TTD offers financial aid to families of deceased devotional musicians

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has offered to extend financial support to the families of two private devotional musicians who recently lost their lives in a road accident while en route to perform at a TTD temple.
The TTD trust board, led by chairman B.R. Naidu, has announced that it will extend help to the families of violinist K. Chakravarthy and tabla player K. Nagaraja Chetty, who had been engaged by the TTD’s Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishat (HDPP) to perform at a Harikatha event in a TTD-run temple near Satravada, on the Andhra Pradesh—Tamil Nadu border. The two died in a road accident after their two-wheeler collided with an APSRTC bus on the Vadamalapeta-Pudi road two days ago.
