US President Donald Trump has signed two executive orders intended to restrict birthright citizenship in the United States, after the Supreme Court ruled in June that his previous efforts were unconstitutional.
The orders expand the government's definition of who would be ineligible for birthright citizenship, and direct immigration officials not to issue visas to non-citizens suspected of entering the country purely to give birth on US soil.
