Donald Trump departed on a secret military flight from Türkiye last month when the White House said he was flying aboard Air Force One, US media report.
The elaborate ruse, which involved hiding the US president in a catering truck, took place when Mr Trump was in Ankara for a NATO summit in July.
The operation was triggered by an Iranian assassination threat to Mr Trump, the Post reports.
