Trump calls media ban from the White House ‘ban on the free press’

US President Donald Trump has called his decision to ban CNN, Politico and MS NOW from the White House “the ban on the free press”.

When asked by media about today’s decision to ban multiple media outlets from the White House, Trump asked the reporter to specify which ban she was asking about.

“Which ban? You know how many bans I’m involved in? I’ve got more bans going than any human being,” he told the reporter.

The reporter then explained she was asking about his recent decision to ban some media from the White House.

“Oh ban on the free press, right? Very simple ban. I don’t want them in my office, I don’t want them here. I would say the ban will go as far as you can,” Trump replied.

“They’re very dishonest people,” he added.
