Troughton to return to Edgbaston as batting coach
Former Warwickshire captain Jim Troughton is returning to the club as a batting coach after a successful tenure at Surrey. He replaces Matt Walker, who is moving to Sussex at the end of the season.

Warwickshire's 2012 County Championship-winning captain Jim Troughton is to return to the club at the end of this season - as batting coach.
Troughton, who also had four years as Bears chief coach following the end of his 14-year playing career, will succeed the outgoing Matt Walker, who is joining Sussex.
Since leaving Warwickshire at the end of the 2020 season , Troughton has been a batting coach - first with Somerset then for five years with Surrey, where he worked under former England players Alec Stewart and Gareth Batty to help to win three successive titles.
"Warwickshire has been a massive part of my life," said the 47-year-old, six-times-capped former England one-day international. "Being able to call it home again is something I'm very much looking forward to.
"I'd like to thank Alec Stewart and Surrey for the opportunity they've given me over the last five years."
