Tropical cyclones could be predicted with an extra day’s warning, thanks to an AI model
Researchers have developed an artificial intelligence model called WeatherNext Cyclones (WN-C) that can improve tropical cyclone forecasting by providing an extra day of warning. The model addresses the difficulty of predicting rapidly evolving weather systems using conventional meteorological methods.
