Trisha, Radhika, Aparna team up for Tamil psychological horror flick

Actors Trisha Krishnan, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Aparna Balamurali are set to star in a new Tamil psychological horror film directed by Raja Krishna Menon. The project, currently filming in London, marks the director's first foray into Tamil cinema and the horror genre.
Why it matters
The collaboration of prominent regional actors with a director known for mainstream Hindi cinema highlights the growing cross-pollination in the Indian film industry.
Trisha Krishnan , Radhika Sarathkumar and Aparna Balamurali are teaming up for a new Tamil production.
This yet-to-be-titled psychological drama and horror flick will be directed by filmmaker Raja Krishna Menon, known for films such as Airlift , Chef and Pippa . The project is backed by Panorama Studios, in association with Locomotive Global.
In a press statement, director Raja Krishna Menon said, “Someone once quite aptly called me ‘genre agnostic’, and this film is another exploration in that journey. This is a story that is a first for me in many ways — my first film in Tamil, my first psychological horror, and my first story centred entirely around women. Adding to that is the privilege of working with Trisha Krishnan, Radhika ma’am, Aparna Balamurali, the wonderful cast and a fantastic crew. It makes this journey all the more exciting.”
