Trifluoroacetate mediated reduction of atherosclerosis in mice
Researchers have discovered that Trifluoroacetate (TFA), previously considered an inert chemical, has bioactive properties that reduce atherosclerosis in mice. The study suggests that TFA may influence metabolic health by binding to PPAR-alpha receptors.
