'Tried to drag me out': TMC MLA Kunal Ghosh attacked, car smashed - video

Trinamool Congress MLA Kunal Ghosh on Sunday alleged that he was targeted in an attempted murder while he was on his way to attend a programme in Kolkata, claiming that armed men smashed his car window and tried to drag him out.According to ANI, Ghosh alleged that the attackers were armed with revolvers and that his security personnel had to draw their weapons to protect him. He said he subsequently took refuge inside the Narkeldanga police station and was in the process of filing a formal complaint."Today I was once again the target of an attempted murder. It is only by the grace of the Almighty that I am still alive," Ghosh said.Ghosh alleged that the incident took place in broad daylight on Sunday when he was travelling to attend a programme in his capacity as an MLA.
