TRIBUTES poured in for a teenager killed in a hit-and-run incident on the Limerick-Clare border on Friday night (September 4).
The 16-year-old boy was named locally this Saturday as Bryan Lowe, from Cloonlara and Westbury, south-east County Clare.
Gardaí believe the boy was riding an e-bike when it was struck by another vehicle that did not remain at the scene.
The teenager was found dead by the L3050 road at Cottage Cross, near Cloonlara village, shortly after 11pm on Friday night.
The area is located seven kilometres from Limerick, where the boy was attending secondary school at St Munchin’s College.
In an online tribute, the boy’s family said they were devastated at news of his sudden death.
A sibling of the boy wrote: “My one and only brother, your whole life ahead of you … I have no words for the pain we feel.”
