A 20-year-old man who was found stabbed when emergency services were called to a car crash has been described as a "wonderful son, loving brother and doting uncle" by his family.

Jamie Evans's red Ford Fiesta and a grey Audi crashed in Orme Road, a residential street in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, just after 17:00 BST on Friday.

Passers-by tried to help him until paramedics arrived but he died from a single stab wound after being taken to hospital.

Staffordshire Police said three men had been arrested - two on suspicion of murder and a third on conspiracy to murder.

His family, who are being supported by specially trained officers, said Jamie, from Stone, had a "warmth, kindness and great sense of humour" that bought "happiness to everyone around him".
