The Blink-182 drummer, 50, recently spoke to The Times about the pair's journey from friends to lovers. Before they tied the knot, the two had known each other for over a decade, dating back to when Barker first became friendly with Kourtney's younger sister , Kim Kardashian .
"I mean, even when we first met, I was obviously tattooed from head to toe and in a band. I think that's why I felt so comfortable being Kourtney's friend because we were such opposites," he told the newspaper.
"I was like, 'oh, I can think she's cute or attractive or a great mom' because we're so different," Barker continued.
