Training programme for police on disaster management measures ahead of Dasara

A special training programme was held for the City police officials in Mysuru on Tuesday on the precautionary safety and disaster management measures ahead of Mysuru Dasara.

The training programme is aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of tourists arriving in Mysuru from across the country and abroad as well as residents of Mysuru during the forthcoming Dasara festival scheduled to be held from October 11 to 21, 2026.

Head of Tejas Disaster Management and Mitigation Centre Pradeep provided extensive training to all the City police officials on detailed guidelines and precautionary measures for disaster management during the training programme, said a statement from the office of Mysuru City Police Commissioner.
