Traffic diversions for Khairatabad Ganesh from Sept. 12-24

Hyderabad traffic police have announced a series of traffic diversions from September 12 to 24 to manage the expected crowds for the Khairatabad Bada Ganesh festival. Commuters are advised to avoid specific junctions and use alternative routes during peak hours.

Traffic diversions will be imposed on a need basis around Khairatabad from September 12-24 in view of the installation and expected rush of devotees visiting the Khairatabad Bada Ganesh.
The diversions will be enforced from 11 a.m. until late in the night, depending on the number of visitors. Traffic police have advised commuters to avoid the Khairatabad, Shadan College, Ayodhya, Nirankari, Old PS Saifabad, Mint Compound, NTR Marg, Secretariat Junction, Necklace Rotary, KCP Junction and Masab Tank areas during peak hours.
Traffic coming from VV Statue towards Mint Compound via Rajeev Gandhi Statue will be diverted at Rajeev Gandhi Statue towards Nirankari Junction. Vehicles from Old PS Saifabad towards Bada Ganesh through Rajdoot Lane will be diverted towards Iqbal Minar.
