Tracey Moffatt's complete works find a home at Chau Chak Wing Museum
Renowned Australian artist Tracey Moffatt is being honored with the acquisition of her complete archive by the Chau Chak Wing Museum. The collection spans her entire career in photography and film, documenting her evolution as a significant contemporary artist.
Why it matters

The problem was, it wasn't Moffatt's work.
"I stole the painting from a boy who was a better artist than I was," the award-winning artist tells ABC Radio National's Awaye! .
"In those days we'd make our paintings and put them outside on the concrete to dry in the sun," she says, thinking back to her childhood in the outer suburbs of Brisbane in the 1960s.
