TP Mazembe knock Medeama out of African Champions League

--> Congolese club TP Mazembe defeated Ghanaian side Medeama 3-1 in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and advanced to the next round of the 2026/27 African Confederation of Football Champions League. The two-legged preliminary-round tie ended 4-1 in favour of the team from the DRC.

As MyJoyOnline reports , TP Mazembe opened the scoring in the 16th minute through Patrick Mwaungulu. The goal extended the hosts' advantage in the two-legged tie to 2-0.
