A 58-year-old German tourist has died after being struck by lightning on the Greek island of Rhodes, reports said, as the Aegean Sea was pummelled by a storm front for a second day.
State agency ANA said on Friday that the accident occurred on a beach near the resort of Lardos where the woman was walking with her husband, who was also hurt.
The Greek civil protection ministry said Rhodes, alongside the broader Dodecanese island group, would be hit by storms on Saturday.
