Tourism Minister inaugurates 3-day ‘travel mart’ exhibition in Chennai

The India International Travel Mart (IITM) Chennai 2026 was inaugurated by the Minister for Tourism S. Rajesh Kumar in the city on Thursday. After inaugurating the three-day exhibition, he also launched the pavilion of the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC). Rohit Hangal, director of Sphere Travelmedia and Exhibitions, which is organising the event, said that this year, over 400 exhibitors from various parts of the country and also from Bhutan and Nepal, were showcasing nearly 28 national and international destinations. The exhibition would be held from July 16 to 18.
