Toronto shooting victim dies, man charged with murder

A 27-year-old man has died just days after he was shot in North York, and police have arrested and charged a 23-year-old man with second-degree murder.

In a news release , Toronto police say officers responded to the Lawrence Avenue East and Underhill Drive area at about 4 a.m. on Sept. 13.

Police allege the victim and suspect were in separate vehicles when the suspect fired a gun at the victim, striking him.

The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after life-saving measures were performed at the scene.
