The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced a protest march in Delhi on September 5 , over the Centre’s alleged failure to honour the promises made during the July agitation. In a statement posted on X, the CJP condemned the Union Government’s failure to honour the commitments made to India’s youth on July 25, particularly those concerning the withdrawal of FIRs against students and protesters.
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval arrived in Beijing on Monday (August 24, 2026) ahead of the 25th round of talks between the Special Representatives (SRs) of India and China on the boundary question. Mr. Doval will on Tuesday (August 25, 2026) meet with Politburo member and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, his counterpart as SR. He will also call on Chinese Vice President Han Zheng, the Ministry of External Affairs said.
