'Took my jewellery': Actor Aditi Sharma accuses husband, in-laws of domestic abuse

MUMBAI: Television actress Aditi Sharma (29), known for her roles in shows such as Apollena - Sapno Ki Unchi Udaan, Rabb Se Hai Dua and Kaleerein, filed a domestic violence complaint against her husband, her mother-in-law and sister-in-law on July 30.An FIR was registered at Goregaon Police Station based on Sharma’s complaint alleging that the three harassed her physical and mental, and was involved in domestic violence, assault, verbal abuse, questioning her character and misusing her streedhan (bridal jewellery).Goregaon police said they were probing the case and were yet to make any arrest. TOI is in possession of the FIR in which Sharma named her husband and in-laws as accused. The trio was booked under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 3(5) (common intention), 316(2) (breach of trust), 352 (intentional insults), and 85 (cruelty committed by a husband or his relatives against a married woman).
