SA Health has apologised to the family of Tony Modra amid revelations staff may have inappropriately accessed his patient records.
The health authority says three staff are being investigated for "potential" inappropriate access, while a further five are being assessed.
The government says appropriate steps will be taken, but the opposition wants an inquiry after a series of such breaches.
