An 18 year old in Georgia has been arrested and charged after her boyfriend allegedly severely beat her 2-year-old son, who later died from his injuries.The Canton Police Department responded to a report of an unresponsive child at a residence on Cartersville Street at around 11.29 am (local time) on August 3, according to police.The child was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. In the days that followed, Canton police detectives interviewed 22-year-old Celso Edison Vicente Y Vicente, who was identified as the live-in boyfriend of the toddler’s 18-year-old mother, Devorah Diaz Perez.According to arrest warrants cited by local media, Vicente Y Vicente was responsible for caring for the child on the day of his death and allegedly struck and “severely beat” him with his hands and other unidentified objects.
