All six members of an inter-district gang were arrested by the Chandragiri police, who also recovered the vehicles stolen from various places in Tirupati, Chittoor and Nellore districts.

The accused were identified as Pathan Afroze (21) of Nellore, A. Lochan Nivas of Chittoor, Krishnappachari Sai Krishna (18) and Neerukonda Jitendra Banerjee (20), both of Chandragiri, M. Vamsikrishna (19) of Chittoor, and P. Satish Babu (28) of Padarupalli in Nellore.

They were arrested on the Naravaripalle-Bhimavaram road, following which the police recovered the stolen vehicles hidden in a nearby forest area.
