The Department of Mathematics of Sadakathullah Appa College (autonomous), Tirunelveli organised ∞ MIND 26-Math Competition, celebrating the mathematical talent and creativity of young minds. More than 500 students representing various schools and colleges across Tirunelveli district participated in the event. R. Kala, professor of Mathematics, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University attended the event as chief guest. The competitions were declared open by Ms. Kala and quiz master A. Rizwana, assistant professor of Mathematics, VHNSN College, Virudhunagar.

SAV Balakrishna Senior Secondary School, Vadakkankulam emerged as the overall champion, while Municipal Girls Higher Secondary School, Kallanai received a special appreciation award for the best performing government school.
