The inauguration of Central Library Readers Park of National Engineering College, Kovilpatti, for the academic year 2026-2027 was held at the college.
S. Subramanian, an alumnus of the college and Station Director of Units III and IV of Kudankulam Nuclear Plant, attended the event as chief guest.
In his address, he emphasised the importance of reading, continuous learning and the pursuit of knowledge in the academic and personal development of students. He encouraged the students to make effective use of all resources available in the central library and to develop reading as a lifelong habit.
