St Mary’s College, Thoothukudi. has launched ‘One QR-FULL SUPPORT-Digital Complaint Reporting and Redressal Initiative’ on the theme ‘Empowering Voices - From Awareness to Action.’
The initiative, organised by the Redressal and Internal Committee, provides students with a single QR code to confidentially seek support or report concerns related to sexual harassment, ragging, bullying, discrimination, substance abuse, academic issues, counselling and other students; welfare concerns.
S. Sornalatha, advocate, notary public, and Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) trainer and D. Therese Patrisha, patent law professional and entrepreneur, served as resource persons and interacted with the students at the launch event.
A five-day training programme on ‘High Value Marine Ornamental Fish Breeding and Culture,’ was conducted at ICAR-CMFRI, Mandapam Regional Centre, and Thoothukudi Regional Station. The programme provided participants with comprehensive theoretical and practical training in marine ornamental fish and breeding and culture.
