National Engineering College in Kovilpatti hosted inauguration ceremonies for its Electrical and Electronics and Mechanical Engineering associations. The events featured industry experts from HCL, Robert Bosch, and Greenstar Fertilizers who advised students on emerging technical skills, while Nazareth Margoschis College held an international conference on applied mathematics and AI.

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ECE) association of the National Engineering College, Kovilpatti, was inaugurated for the academic year 2026-2027 by Bharathiraja Arumugam, an alumnus of the college and Associate General Manager of HCL Technologies, Chennai.
In his address, he highlighted the growing importance of hardware architecture in future technological advancements and emphasised the need for students to continuously upgrade their technical skill to meet the evolving demands of the industry.
Gauthaman Balasubramanian, an alumnus of the college and senior project manager, Robotics Division, Robert Bosch, Germany, attended the event as special guest and addressed the students. He highlighted the growing significance of embedded systems and software development and encouraged students to strengthen their knowledge and skills in these emerging fields.
Mechanical Engineering association inaugurated
The inauguration of the Mechanical Engineering Association for the academic year 2026-2027 was held at National Engineering College, Kovilpatti.
