Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) chairman B. Sridhar Varma on Monday (September 7, 2026) assured the residents of Tirumala that he would remain accessible to them and address their grievances with the management, setting aside his official position when necessary.
“I will serve Lord Venkateswara and also repay the debt I owe to the people of Tirumala,” Mr. Varma said at a felicitation programme organised by the locals at a private Kalyana mandapam in Tirupati.
Hailing from Tirumala, Mr. Varma said he would work for the resolution of local issues while discharging his responsibilities as SVBC’s chairman. He also said that he would strive to promote the glory of Lord Venkateswara to a global audience and work in line with Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s vision.
