The Tiruchi City Police have created a Internal Vigilance Cell with a dedicated mobile number 78712-02100 for the general public to report any instance of police personnel serving in Tiruchi City demanding bribes from the general public or compelling them to pay bribes in connection with discharging their police -related duties.
The name, address and other personal information of the informant shall be kept strictly confidential. The information could be conveyed to the dedicated mobile number directly or through Whatsapp, a press release from the Commissioner of Police said on Wednesday.
