President Bola Tinubu on Thursday urged Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, to demonstrate magnanimity in victory and promote unity, peace and stability following his re-election in the state’s governorship election. Tinubu made the call when he received Adeleke at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where the governor visited to thank the President for what he described as ensuring a free and fair election in Osun State. The governor also presented the President with his certificate of return for the electoral victory. Tinubu appealed for magnanimity in victory for all political actors regardless of party. He stated, “Anybody, any democrat, anybody in the political environment who cannot celebrate the joy of a free and fair election does not deserve the laughter and the happiness of democracy.
