At least one person was killed and another critically injured after a woman allegedly stabbed two people in New York City's Times Square before she was fatally shot by police, authorities said.The stabbings occurred at around 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue on Monday, according to police. The suspect, described by authorities as apparently emotionally disturbed, fled north toward an NYPD substation, where officers confronted her.Police said the woman was armed with two large knives when officers encountered her. Bystander video showed several officers surrounding the woman, with at least one appearing to use a taser before she moved toward officers while brandishing the knives.
