A total of 293 different films will be screened during this year’s festival, including more than 60 titles that will have their world premieres at TIFF.
This year’s festival will span seven different venues, ranging from the cavernous Roy Thomson Hall to the more intimate Scotiabank Theatre near Queen and John streets.
Fans hoping to catch a glimpse of celebrities walking the red carpet can gather in dedicated viewing areas along King Street outside both Princess of Wales Theatre and Royal Alexandra Theatre.
