This evening, the weather in Latvia will deteriorate sharply. According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are expected in many areas of the country from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
In some places, the storm clouds will be accompanied by gusts of wind up to 15–16 meters per second.
The most challenging situation is forecasted for the eastern part of Latvia. Very heavy precipitation is expected here, along with the possibility of large hail.
